These six musicians fell in love with the music of Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington and Clark Terry.
They find their joy in playing swing like it is meant to be played.
With their own arrangements, they tempt to approach a big band sound. But besides that, they also know how to play in a smooth way and keep up the old, dusty atmosphere.
Birdie Bounce has its roots in the bouncing heart of Ghent, Belgium.
Amongst their experiences there's swing parties in Ghent, Brussels, Antwerp and Rotterdam; the lindy hop society has no secrets for this band.
